Q: Should i get a 2008 Dodge Challenger or is there a better choice for a car? If so can you tell me.?
I was just woundering because i got my drivers and i want a good cool car.
A: get something cheap and not brand new as your first car...that way if you do hit something you wont be totally pissed and neither will your parents. Even if i had hundreds of thousands to spend i still would not buy my kids a brand new car as soon as they got their license

Q: Are they selling the 2008 Dodge Challenger yet?
I haven't seen any on the road, but man it looks like an awesome car from what I've read
A: Yes , You can put down the deposit, and except to pay some mark up top of sticker if you want one. they will be here by May. First Dodge comes out with the high performance SRT base price is $ 40.000. The problem is each dealer only going to get 2-4 challengers at first. Q: what do you think about the new 2008 dodge challenger concept car??
when is it coming out?
what about the price?
also why has the new camaro concept been in the news for years without it actualy coming out?
also why are all the muscle cars making a comeback all of the sudden? what brought all this about?
A: Challenger is coming out in early '08
ranging between $25,000 to $35,000
Camaro is supposed to come out in mid to late '08 as an '09.
same price range....who knows what engine it will get L76 is most likely but maybe LS3
Mustang started all the muscle car comeback in '05
And the answer to the title question.....
It looks good except for the huge side marker lights...
It is going to weigh too much, so it shouldn't perform like the Camaro even with more power.
But we will only truly know when the cars come out.
Either way its going to be nice seeing them both kill the Mustang.

Q: Who owns or will own the 2008.75 Dodge Challenger SRT8?
Who has purchased the new 2008.75 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and what do you think about it?
We just got our first one at our dealership and I was wondering what people thought of it.
It is one of the few that hasn't been sold yet and I wanted some testimonials from actual owners to assist when demostrating the vehicle other than your normal 0-60, stylish retro look, quarter mile mumbo jumbo!
Thanks ahead of time.
A: I wish I could afford to buy one. We also just got our first one (black in color) at the dealership I work for, and I tell you what that is one awesome looking car.
Q: should i get a 2008 dodge challenger srt8 or dodge ram3500 cummins?
A: I have had a 08 Challenger SRT8 on order since Feb 07. Firstly, Good luck in finding a 2008 SRT8 Challenger and secondly, good luck in getting one for MRSP....you will be looking at easily a +$10K market up for an SRT8 (min. $50K).
Having a 06 Magnum SRT8 (summer car) and a 04 Dodge Ram 3500 CTD with performance upgrades. I enjoy both vehicles but I would have to say my truck is the more enjoyable and most practical of the two vehicles as I haul my family around in it, haul our 5th wheel, and best thing I enjoy is the look at sports car owners when I blow there doors off.
The Dodge Ram 3500 you can have the best of both worlds....HP(lots of performance upgrades) & a workhorse hauler. The cummin's you can crank out the HP and Torque very easily with a Performance Chip, exhaust, CAI, injectors. If you want to get carried away you can get stackable chips and propane injection that can crank out the HP. Also, the CTD is a great motor long lasting! However, the drawbacks for the Diesel when a part breaks be prepared for a big bill at times! Diesels are not the cheapest to maintain when things break.
If you wait for the 2009 Challenger they will have a 6 speed manual and a possible 6.4L Hemi that will crank out +500HP.
Q: Does anyone know how much the 2008 dodge challenger is going to be?
A: It will have to be comparable to the Mustang and Camaro to compete. Probably 20k for the v6, about 25k for the base v8, and easily over 30k for a loaded SRT8 model. And I kinda agree with the above poster; a heavy pig Challenger will probably be beat by a slightly lighter pig GT500.
Q: How much will the 2008 Dodge Challenger cost?
A: If they have a six challenger, figure low to mid 20's, for the base and then probably "sxt" model. The R/T will probably start just under 30, and go into 40 with all the options. Then there will be the SRT of course, which should start in the 40's and into 50's with all the options. But, pricing hasen't been released.
