Q: Doese anyone in maryland want to buy my 1999 dodge neon?
I have a 1999 Dodge Neon 2.0 DOHC and I cant sell it. Anybody interested? 2000 or best offer. Great condition. Thank you

Q: What do you think of a 1999 dodge neon?
Are dodge neon's good cars and do they last very long? I just got a 1999 dodge neon and was wondering if they are prone to having certain things wrong with them or are they good cars? Just curious! Thanks
A: Very good little cars. Not all required head gaskets, but it was a very common problem on Neons. I've known 2 people who got over 150k miles and never had to replace the head gasket. Both required minimal repairs, of course, but nothing major.
Q: 1999 Dodge Neon keeps blown fuel pump fuse, possible cause?
I have a 1999 Dodge Neon, last Friday it stalled just when I pulled out my driveway. I had found the fuel pump fuse blown, so, I replaced one with the same amp. It will drive about 20 minutes and fuse blown again. Of course, everytime that occurs, the car will stall. I replaced with another one, then I can drive again for 20+ minutes...anyone knows the possible cause?
A: The fuel pump is toast. Keeping the tank at least 1/4 at all times will help it live longer, but yours has died.
It`s located inside the fuel tank. so replace it!
Q: The engine in my 1999 Dodge Neon is knocking softly. Does an engine have to knock very loud before it dies?
Is it possible to know how much longer my engine will last? Breaking down in the middle of traffic is one of my biggest fears. Does the lodness of my knocking engine determine how much longer it will last?
A: There are all kinds of knocks. If it's a rapping sound which gets louder and faster as you rev the engine then it's probably a rod bearing and they typically don't knock very long before they come apart. Have it checked out by a mechanic. It may be something like a collapsed lifter which is relatively easy to correct.
Q: 1999 Dodge Neon airbag light wont turn off?
I just bought a 1999 Dodge Neon and I noticed that the airbag light is constantly on. Does anyone know what causes this and how I can get that light off?
A: The airbag light is on because there is a problem in the airbag system somewhere. If could be a bad sensor, or on that car is could be the clock spring in the steering column is bad. One quick test is to try the horn. If the horn does not work, it is the clock spring that needs to be repaired!
If the horn works, you will need to have a computer scan of the airbag system to see where the problem is.
Q: My 1999 Dodge neon is leaking antifreeze now what?
I have had my car for just over a month now, and all of a sudden it started to leak antifreeze and quite quickly. what should i do and can I keep driving it?
A: Take it to a shop to be fixed.

I am going to college in 2 weeks and I need a way to get there, and I am in desperation mode right now.
A: It should be a good car as long as it has been taken care of.
Q: 1999 Dodge Neon is heating up. what could be wrong?
I have a 1999 dodge neon and when my radiotors fans turn onthe temperature gauges goes to "h" but when they turn of the temperature goes to normal what could be causing this?
A: you have a short in the fan system if when the fan comes on you run hot.... the fan is sending a bad signal to your temperature sensor or your temperature gauge. check out your wiring schematics at autozone.com they also have online repair manuals and trouble shooting guides
Q: How do i bypass the speed limiter on 1999 dodge neon rt?

Q: how much does it cost to replace a radiator in a 1999 dodge neon?

Q: 1999 Dodge Neon Maintenance Need?
I have a 1999 dodge neon with 96000 miles. What are the upcoming maintenances I should look to have done?
A: you,ll need all new belts including the timing belt with new tensioner and transmission fluid change with new filter and gaskets, all axles checked out real good ,a complete scan done on it to determine its running condition and possibly a good tune up and it wouldn't hurt to have the cooling system flushed out,if you do most of these things now you can get another 100 k worth of driving from it,id also have the front end checked fo any worn parts and have the alignment checked, anything that you can find now will save you from having to do it later or maybe prevent it from breaking down on you,id also have the charging system checked, preventive maintenance is the best thing possible for that car, good luck.
Q: I have a 1999 dodge neon, how do I get the better mileage from it?
It's in Decent condition.. 148,000 miles on it though..
A: use high mileage oil, check tire pressure at least once a month
Q: What is Wrong with my 1999 Dodge Neon? - OVERHEATING?
ok Im very puzzled by this because I replaced these items and It still overheats(according to the gauge)
1.) Thermostat
2.) Radiator Cap
3.)Water Temperature Sensor
4.) And a hose I had a patch on
The car still says its overheating however the car itself is running fine....like if i didnt have the gauge I wouldnt notice if it was overheating or not...Also might I mention that When the needle goes to H I turned off the car for 5 seconds and turn it back on...The needle is on normal like nothing happened...So please help with this troubling situation THANKS :-)
A: If the temperature hike is real, I would go in the direction of the water pump, but given the difference in readings you get, it almost seems like possible ECU error (only if it is not actually overheating).
If you get sick of that pointless gauge in your dash, go to Auto Zone or whatever parts store you have around you, and buy a cheap Temp Gauge. It will come with a new sensor with fittings to give you an ACCURATE reading.
Q: location of oil pressure sending unit on a 1999 dodge neon?
A: The sending unit is on the back of the block about halfway down toward the drivers side. What more of an answer would you like?
Q: replaced the fuel pump in my 1999 dodge neon and I still keep blowing fuel pump fuses why?
Today I finally have the time to check the wires I did replace a relay fuse. I am also replacing the o2 senser.
A: pinched power wire to the pump or a internally shorted fuel pump relay
