I am 19 years old and is looking for a coupe or a sporty car. I am currently driving a 2000 dodge neon and is getting sick of it. Not a car that I want to drive my dates in.
A: You are too young to find cheap insurance on a newer car most likely. I worked in the auto insurance industry and know first hand. A coupe is going to be expensive automatically. 2dr compared to 4dr can make a significant difference in insurance price. Sporty cars are also more expensive. If you want cheap you need to get a mid 1990's car that is four door, not high value, has air bags, and good to excellent crash ratings. Thats probably not what you are looking for but thats the truth. The only other thing that can make a big difference is your credit score and what state/city you live in. If you do get a new car, make sure it has all the best safety features to lower the cost on your end. The rates are so expensive b/c you have a higher chance of hitting another veh. Your car is only half the equation.

Q: Does anyone know if you can fit three carseats in a 2001 neon?
Alright well I am pregnant with my third child, and I already have a 3 year old, and an 18 month old. I really don't want to get a van due to the cost of gas, and we just bought a brand new car as well. So we only have two cars a 2001 dodge neon, and a 2008 suzuki forenza. So I was wondering if anyone has these cars or a car simlar that has fit 3 car seats in the back safely. I can't find anything online about it, and I don't know anyone who has had to do this. Thanks
A: I'd take it to your local police station and ask them to do a safety check (and install your infant seat while you are at it.
I had an excursion (think monster big SUV) and was told that you cannot put carseats side-by-side like that because they jostle each other during accidents. I was putting four in, three in the middle because they were young enough to need help buckling, and one in the back where my oldest could help buckle a booster seat.

Its impossible to tell what the fastest import car on the road is today. You can do performance upgrades on all tuner cars. I saw a show though, where some guy in England had some red muscle car, pushing 5000hp.

I am looking to purchase the above vehilce. I have a Dodge Neon now, so I am not looking at something big and powerful. Any comments on this car? What about in the snow? I usually run 4 snow tires in the winter. I was looking for some input. Thaniks!!
A: DONT BUY A DOMESTIC. Especially a Chevrolet, the reliability & resale price will be extremly low comparing to when you purchase it. Get an Import, they arent that much more and are usually more reliable & resale for a very good price. Rec: Honda Fit, Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris.
Q: 2008 Toyota Tundra sound nice?
Right now I own an 2004 Dodge Neon SE. The Blue Book on it is $3500, I still owe $8600. Oops, bad buy I guess.
I priced together the Tundra at $29,500, I like everything it has to offer: big engine, 6 disc changer, color, quality, 18" wheels. Now this could be my first truck, so, my question is this. Are they any precautions I should be aware of before I venture out to buy this truck? Any negative reviews regarding this truck? All answers will be greatly appreciated, but don't say something stupid please. Thank you Yahoo Community.
A: Quality??? The Tundra was the most recalled vehicle of 2007. Sure, it won motor Trend Truck of the Year, but the Silverado won it last year, and they cannot give it to the same truck again without any updates or changes. When Motor Trend did a head to head test with Silverado VS Tundra, the Chevy came out on top.

Q: Why come a car sells a lot they stop making them the next year?
What kind of craziness is this? Examples: Dodge Neon, sold a lot when it was selling. Then they took it off the manufacturer's list. Chevrolet Cavalier, I'm so mad at Chevrolet for this one. I used to own a Cavalier (2000), they took it off and put the Cobalt in and gave it more horsepower than the Cavalier. Cavalier should've been fast like the Cobalt! Cavalier looked better too. Camaro as well. People how are you going to take away cars that are famous, and sold well off the company list. By the way I left Chevrolet because of the way they did the Cavalier wrong. Celica, O.K. I have one of these now. However, they're coming back with one just like the Supra in 2008. Toyota is cool at least they're bringing their classics back. Toyota is the best car brand out in my opinion. I think Chevy is too, but I hate them for what they did and until they bring the Cavalier back....Nope! The Dodge Caliber SRT8 is on my wish list...light weight and powerful. Fast Hatchback. Still keeping Celica!
A: In a word, PROGRESS. Think about it, the Cavalier replaced an older model too. Perhaps an earlier horseless carriage would better suit your needs in a vehicle.

Q: My parents: I'm taking a backseat to my cousin?
Well, for starters, when you compare me to my cousin Melody in accomplishments, she beats me hands down. We're both 16, and she's an award winning pianist, a theater actor, part time model, on the honor roll, and is going to Spain as a foreign exchange student in September. Me? I write comics and editorials for the high school paper, average C's and above, work a farmhand job at my grandmother's farm (My cousin and her family live on the property) and hold the record for most bottles of hot sauce chugged at the Hooters in Portland. Need I say more? (It was five, by the way)
Anyway, I get a lot of, "So anything new?" from my mother.
Last December, I got my license, and my mother offered to sell me her 2001 Mazda Pickup for $2,000. So I took it.
Recently, my stepdad bought a 2008 Chevy Cobalt for himself, and didn't know what to do with his 1998 Dodge Neon, which was worth slightly less than the pickup (Both cars got into wrecks, so the Neon was $300, the truck $500).
So my stepdad decides to give it to my cousin for free. They even paid to transfer the title.
So they give my cousin who lives 17 miles away a ar for free, but they have their own son pay $2,000 for a $500 pickup? would that seem like they're favoring her at all?
Oh, and as to why the truck is $500 now, a month after I started driving it, I was on my way home from work, and I drove over a puddle that took up pretty much the entire road, right before a sharp curve, and I slid across the road into an orchard tree.
By the way, I like me. I'm happy. I'm just wondering if my folks are favoring my cousin. Thanks = )

I'm looking to get my 2nd car, because my current 1998 Plymouth Neon needs a lot of work.
I will be commuting to college every day, and I'm looking to get a 4-cylinder that's good on gas. Nothing too big, but not too small either. Also something that is good in the snow/rain.
I'm debating between the 2008 Honda Civic, 2009 Toyota Corolla, 2008 Dodge Avenger and 2008 Volkswagen Jetta.
I'm an 18-year-old male btw. Which of these cars would be best for me? Any other suggestions?
