Q: Where can i find the power plug in for my 2007 Dodge Nitro?
I want to be able to plug in the vehicle so that I do not have to spend a lot of time warming the vehicle in winter time. Thanks for all your help!
A: You would only plug your vehicle in if you had an engine block heater installed on your nittro. Probably does not come factory installed. I have prepped a lot of new nittro's at the dealership and i have yet to see one installed. if it does have one your sales associate can find out for you through an options list.(function 14)

Q: I have a New 2007 dodge Nitro. I want to know if how i can hook up my off market amp to my stock radio?
my subwoofer is 12" and i have a 225 watt amp! i need some help i dont want to buy a new radio!
A: you can get a thing that converts your rear speaker wires to RCAs then you wont need a new radio you just hook up the rest of the wires like normal. You can get the part a walmart for like 10 bucks
Q: Just bought a 2007 dodge nitro on saturday....?
I test drove it and loved the ride and features. Im planning on keeping it till the wheels fall off. Ive read some good some bad reviews. Anyone else own one that can tell me what they think??
A: If you found a vehicle you like, congrats!
If you want it to last, do the maintaince. Know the manufactures schedule (not the dealerships, which has added items) and keep up with it. As a small SUV it'll require more work then a smaller car but it's worth it if you're happy.
Most new vehicles today will last a long time if you take care of them. A lot of bad reviews come from folks who don't do the work to keep the cars running well.
Q: GPS for 2007 Dodge Nitro?
I have a 2007 DODGE NITRO. I am interested in getting a GPS for it. What systems are the best on the market for the money? Which ones come with mounts? Which ones are the easiest to read, program and mount? Also, if you have or know of anyone who has a Nitro, where is the best place to mount this? I have an open console on the top of the dash that I think would be a good idea. I do not want to hack into the dash, and would prefer doing this myself. Thank.
A: the garmin is a good one,also the tom tom is a real good one also,the tom tom is a little cheaper and does work as good,its just smaller with a smaller screen but have an accuracy rate of 99% and that's pretty good,you can mount it on top of the dash or on the lower windshield,most people do mount them on the dash,their easier to see there,and most of them have voice assistance also,good luck,and happy thanksgiving.
Q: Will a stock 2007 Dodge Nitro 17" rim fit a 2006 SXT Magnum RWD?
I'm pretty sure it's a 5.45 (5x114.3) bolt pattern but I'm not sure of the offset for the rims.
A: Your Stock Magnum RWD will have 5x115mm bolt pattern and an offset of +25mm for the RWD versions and the stock wheel I believe is 7.5" wide.
AWD versions will have the same bolt pattern but the stock rims are +55mm.
If the Dodge Nitro's from what I read has a +25mm offset and bolt pattern is 5x114.3mm & 8.5" wide. They will fit but not perfectly. You may have some issues with vibration by placing these rims on your Magnum
If you are looking at upgrading you wheels, you can go on Dodge forums or LXforums in the for sale section and pick up some nice R/T or even SRT8 rims for cheap as many people are upgrading there rims to 20's or 22's.

A: The base models have a lack of power... 205 hp i think they have... Its not enough if you want to easily pass a car... but the RT is much better. Better looking too

WHEN I CRANK THE ENGINE IT JUST MAKES A CLICK NOISE BUT IT DOESNT TURN ON I TRIED ABOUT 3 TIMES THEN IT FINALLY CRANKED MAYBE A LOOSE CABLE ON THE BATTERY ITS ONLY A YEAR OLD
A: you got a warranty on it ,so id use it while you got it,why try and fix something that's covered under warranty when you can get it done for free,use the warranty while you can when its gone you,ll be paying for all these small repairs,good luck.
Q: can you tow a dodge nitro 2007?

Read the owners manual for instructions.
If it is a 4WD version, put the transfer case in neutral after attaching it to the tow vehicle with the tow bar. Remember to release the parking brake, and make sure the transfer case is in neutral before trying to tow.
If it is a 2WD version, raise the rear wheels off the ground.

Q: I have a Rear DVD Video System on my 2007 Nitro...DVD is stuck in it (top)...how do I get it out?

A: There should be a little hole that you can stick a straightened out paper clip in somewhere on the face of the DVD player that will automatically eject the disc. However, I would take it to the dealer, as it should still be under warranty. Good luck.
Q: Can the new DODGE NITRO run on LP Gas?
I am thinking about buying the new 2007 dodge NITRO...can it be fitted on factory gas? Or can it be fitted on Gas after I buy it? Would it just "never be the same" if i put it on gas?
Or.. would the diesel be anywhere near as cheap to run as gas? Not many solid answers written up about this...
What is LPG fuel?
Liquefied petroleum gas (LP gas or LPG) is a hydrocarbon fuel comprising propane, butane or propylene, either separately or as a mixture of any of them. Automotive LPG is not the same as the LPG used in BBQ bottles.
The quality of LPG for automotive use is controlled to ensure consistent vehicle performance under all driving conditions. The gas is liquefied under moderate pressure; when allowed to revert to vapour it expands 270 times its liquid volume.
This enables LPG to be stored as a compact liquid but burnt as a dry gaseous vapour. LPG is non-toxic, non-corrosive, free of lead and heavier than air. It is produced by refinery fractionation of oil or is stripped from naturally occurring Natural Gas.
Virtually all LPG used in Australia is produced in Australia. Alot of LPG is exported as surplus to Australias requirements. Known reserves of gas are far greater than those of crude oil from which petrol is derived. So LPG should remain readily available.

LPG can be obtained from more than 3500 retail outlets around Australia. Millions of cars in australia already run on either straight LPG or dual fuel..

I am looking to buy a 2007 Dodge Nitro sometime after the first of the yr. I was wondering if anyone has bought one and if they enjoy it. Also does anyone know when the rebates are going into effect for them???? Thanks
A: I'm a sales consultant at a Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep store. The Nitro is Dodges version of the Jeep Liberty, however the ride, and the handle of the Nitro is far better than the Liberty ever thought of being. As far as the rebates, they have already started on the 2007's, but won't get to aggresive til February or March.
Q: Windshield Wipers stopped working on Dodge Nitro?
I have a 2007 Dodge Nitro and the windshield wipers suddenly stopped working. The first time it happened it was in the middle of a rainstorm. They stopped working and then after a few minutes of me mashing the wiper lever they started again, only they staggered across the windshield. The washer fluid is fine and my rear wiper works fine. I took it to the Dodge service department and they said they reprogrammed the TRIPM computer (I am not automotive savvy so I apologize if this is not the correct term) but that did not work. I took it back in and they can't seem to replicate the problem and suggested I need a whole new computer module. Sometimes it will work fine for a few minutes but then just stops completely and does not resume normal function until days later. I wonder if the rain water has anything to do with it? Is this worth the trouble? At this point I am considering getting rid of it, if no one can fix it! HELP! Thank you!
A: you still have warranty on the car so take it to the dealers, but it sounds like the motor to the wipers need to be changed.
Q: Do tire pressure sensors read the right tires after rotation?
I recently had my tires rotated on my 2007 Dodge Nitro. It has tire pressure sensors that give an alert and also show all 4 tire pressures on a display when there is a tire problem.
After tire rotation, how does the vehicle know that the tires have changed position?
A: Because if the rotation is done properly all four sensors are reprgrammed before the vehicle leaves the shop with a TPMS scan tool.

Q: My tire pressure light keeps coming on, it is because of the rims?
Everytime I turn on my vehicle (2007 Dodge Nitro) a light turns on and keeps beeping. It is the symbol that indicates that on one or more of my tires, my air pressure is low. Could this be because I have put new tires and 22" rims on all 4? I checked the pressure with a guage and it was good. Could the sensor be broken?
A: The sensors the tire pressure monitoring system is looking for are attached to the valve stems. Did you put those in your new rims?
If you transfered them to your new rims, and your spare tire has the correct air pressure. Then there is a good chance one of the sensors got damaged.
You will need a factory scanner to tell you which one is bad.
